My love of Shoes

I really love shoes and this I believe stems from my young days when my uncle use to come to our house and measure our feet. The shoes he promised us never arrived.

I have been "threatening" the family I will blog on the topic. My collections of shoes has tripled over the year  as my eldest daughter use to say "mummy you have all these shoes but only wear one"

Shoes are made for walking and the more comfortable the better

CRUISES

Denmark
The first time I went on a cruise was to the Scandinavian countries with the children in the nineties. My reaction was one of doubt and what is the need or why do people want to be stuck on the ship for a week or two.

Mediterranean

My second travel was with a dear friend, we started on a weeks holiday in Cyprus and joined the Seam Bream one of air-tours ships. Whilst in Cyprus we stayed in Protarious and it was a nice family holiday. We were treated like princesses on the ship.  Dinned on the captains table every night and had a great time.

Ocean Village:

This was our honeymoon and we booked it in November 2005 to travel in June 2006. We were really looking forward to the travel and being together. It seemed a long while away but it soon arrived and we had a fantastic time.

20 June 2006 Manchester International to Palma Malloca where we joined the ship. We stayed at a hotel in Manchester.  We were on the ship for 14 glorious nights.

Itinerary
Tuesday - Palma Airport -
Wednesday - At sea
Thursday - La Goulette
Friday - Civitavechia
Saturday - Genoa
Sunday -St Rapheal
Monday - Barcelona
Tuesday - Palma
Wednesday - At sea
Thursday -  La Goulette
Friday - Naples
Saturday - Livorno
Sunday - Villefranche
Monday - Ajaccio
Tuesday - Palma
Tunis was our first port of call, we went round the markets and the town to have a feel of the culture.
Rome
We went to see the Colosseum, Pantheon and the Sistine Chapel (awesome)
The Spanish steps was something else, had to toss a coin in Trevi Fountain this means I am bound to go back to Rome - fantastic this is for anyone who believes in culture and art.
Gucci

Cannes:

We walked on the bolvd de la Croisette looked at the beautiful Antique shops and the sleepy hill top village of St Paul de Vence.
Relaxed in a few bars and the beaches and Damian got me some nice tops, sunglasses watch from the boutiques.

Bulgaria

Information - Golden sands resort, Varna, Bulgaria

Golden Sands resort, Bulgaria. Successful choise for your holidays.
The pearl of the Black sea coast. Find there a lot of sun, limpid sea
water, tremendous naturally sands and magnificent forest.

Looking to go to a perfectly different place this summer. I am thinking of the budget as well. With an opening summary like this what more can

The travel agent suggested Bulgaria so here I am doing all my homework.
http://www.goldensands.bg/info/varna.asp
This is a link my friends girl friend passed to me today. I must say it really looks impressive.

Comments from mates:
it's a really wonderfull place, ofcourse it have his bad sides, like every other place in this world, Varna is really and I mean it really nice place to stay, tge life there is really good and the people are really nice :):) I'll speak with one of my friends, she is a student there and she will give me a little bit more information about the sity, but I know it's really beautiful and safe place, but as every other place have his bad sides..... :)

Where you spend your summer depends a little on what you like and how old your children are?
Bulgaria can offer everything from tranquil mountains for hiking or mountain biking, horse riding etc
Then there is the Black Sea coast with sun & sand for all ages Sunny Beach & Golden Sands being the most commercial resorts overrun by drunken youngsters
Albena is a lovely resort commercial but more suited to young families
Balchik is a historic town with local charm (and several golf courses nearby)
Sozopol & Nessebar are the most beautiful old towns on the Black Sea
Obzor probably has the most beautiful stretch of beach
If you want to discover Bulgaria, take an organized roundtrip to give you the feel of the country, then you can always come back again…for longer ;-)
Travelling around alone is a little more tricky …but not dangerous.
If you can give me more info about what YOU are looking for – I’ll see if I can help.

Empowerment Award

Empowerment Award

In October 2010 Eugenia received an award from Shea Yeleen International in Washington DC for all her hard work and committment to the women who produce the Shea butter in the North of Ghana.  Also in attendance was Ms Rahama Wright, President of Shea Yeleen International who presented her with the award.
The United State African Development Foundation ( USADF) awarded Eugenia a grant in 2009 to expand the marketing of Shea Butter. Eugenia is very dedicated, reliable and trustworthy. Without her attributes the business would not have thrived.

Pictures to follow soon:
Also to come new design labels for the products.

Speaking to USADF staff, Ms. Akuete stated “I am from southern Ghana and the women I work with live in the north. Yet, I have a connection to them and I am working to fulfill their needs so that they can buy medication and even send their daughters to school.”  She then added “It is because of the USADF grant that I am able to do this. USADF’s funding is touching the lives of women and children in rural Ghana.”

USADF established programming in Ghana in 1984.  Ghana’s current portfolio stands at nineteen investment projects totaling nearly $3.2 million dollars.  For more information about the portfolio, please visit the country’s quick source page at http://www.adf.gov/USADF-QuickSourceCountryPortfolioPage-Ghana.htm .
For more information on Shea Yeleen International, please visitsheayeleen.org.
Need a pick-me up for your hair or skin after the holidays and bad weather please try the shea Butter and black soap I can recommend both. Happy new year to all.
